I have a SmartThings Hub from USA and I want to use it in Europe. I know will not be able to use z-wave devices but I’m fine with that (I want to use zigbee).
When I try to enter the Welcome Code on either the new App or the old SmartThings App I always get a connection issue. There is really no connection issue neither with the phone nor the Hub. My SmartThings Hub is connected by Ethernet to my router and connection is fine because it has fixed green light on the lights leds.

How can I address this problem ?

I can’t be 100% certain, but this could be a region issue. If your Samsung account isn’t in the US region, and you’re trying to add a hub in the EU, that may be your problem. There are a few discussions about this in the Community, so you might want to do a search to see what you come up with.
I have read also somethings about that region lock but not sure I got the process to bypass it.
Does the Samsung account needs to be created in USA or when trying to input the welcome code I need to have a VPN on the phone to simulate being in the USA ?
