(GL-S-006P) 5W GU10 LED Spotlight Pro

I have bought from a local vendor here in Norway some GU10 bulbs - (GL-S-006P) 5W GU10 LED Spotlight Pro that I wanted to use with my Aeotec Hub (formerly Smartthings hub) through Zigbee.

The bulb is added and can be controlled with driver Zigbee light Multifunction Mc, but I cannot get below 2700K, according to Gledopto website and the local vendor (Nordic LED) it should be possible to get down to 2200K.

The local vendor is stating that this bulb is not tested or compatible with mye Aeotec Zigbee hub, is this correct ?

I have a lot of similar bulbs from IKEA, and all go down to 2200K, but they are unfortunately discontinued and not being sold anymore

You can adjust temperature range in the settings

like I stated, I want down to ar least 2300k

Have you tried changing the setting?

I don’t have this type of lamp and therefore can’t test it.

open the bulb in the ST app, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen and select Settings

have done, I know how to do this, was just wandering if it is the maker who is giving wrong info, or if I am on the wrong driver

You can try to use SmartThings Edge Driver Builder

and change GU10 bulb profile to color-temp-bulb-2200K-6500K (this is not color profile only color temperature) I think that your bulb is also color bulb.

Maybe this is better profile rgbw-bulb-2200K-6500K

Profile is in ST production driver zigbee-switch

I have the “Zigbee switch” installed and tried it, it gives me less options and still same problem - i camnot edit drivers, i am not that good at this - sorry

So I contacted Gledopto and this is the reply, so I guess they make zigbee devices for only a few hubs.

Hi,

Yes, GL-S-006P is 2200K-6500K

However, the commands may differ depending on the gateway.

We recommend using Philips Hue Bridge.

Best regards,
