GE Wave Paddle Dimmer - manual control

Hi

I have recently installed my first GE ZWAVE paddle wall dimmer. It is connected in and works great (via the ST app). I have used ST for several years

HOWEVER … I am not able to switch the device off manually… I can switch on… make brighter…make dimmer. I can take the brightness down to 1%.

How do you switch off manually ? (instructions say a single press - but that just seems to reduce brightness.

Single press down should turn it off. If it doesn’t there may be something wrong with the switch.

Be sure just pushing down like a normal switch.
Press and hold down is dimming. Toggle down is off.

Same for on in up direction.

Are you using LED bulbs? I went through many till I could find some that would actually shut off.
