im trying to setup my gate (I’ve got it setup as a switch) as an actual garage door with an open/closed sensor, I was able to successfully do this with this “New smart app to link the virtual/simulated garage door device with two actual devices” but the problem is that if the wind blows SUPER hard or someone pushes the gate to the point of the contact sensor saying its open it’ll trigger the gate to actually open. the gate automatically closes as well after 120 seconds. so I just need a simple way to make the gate open when I press the virtual garage door and it show wether its open or closed with that contact sensor. I have this integrated with HomeBridge so its best to have it act as a garage door rather than just a switch.
