Not having much luck getting this to work… At 10pm, i want to check my garage door status and if open, turn on a light. can’t seem to get the checking to work although I can turn on the light with other automations. my hunch is an automation triggers only on a change? Not sure. Any help apprecia…

It works for me but I have it checking my garage door sensor, not my garage door “switch’ [image]

I’ll be damned! I just tried it again and it worked. I must have been doing something wrong (stupid) the first time. Thanks.
