I was asked for a pin on my phone apparently as security regarding my biometrics and used the wrong password (been a while). so I locked it in smart things using the lock function thinking I would get an option to unlock the phone and then I can reset my forgotten password ( no I did not get an option “forgot my password”. It seems to be asking for a pin I have no idea what that is as is brand new phone with an esim. How do I turn now off the lost phone lock in smart things??
Any answers to this please… i have the same problem
Go to https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/

Select found/lost device
Select Lost mode
Select retry
Enter new pin
Confirm new pin
Select Turn on
Enter new pin on found/lost device
Device is unlocked
Open Samsung Wallet and unlock

THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION!!! This will turn your phone into an electronic brick. The website asks you to make up a pin. But it doesn’t actually change the pin. This will only make the problem worst. After you do all of that, it will lock the phone so that you can’t shut it off. If you can’t shut it off then you cannot reboot the phone. It’s why I’m here. Talked to Samsung CS and they’re pretty useless. Before them, I was on their site with the ai chat bot, it actually told me to go the Samsung find my phone and click unlock. THEIR OWN SYSTEM DOESN’T KNOW THIS FEATURE HAS BEEN GONE ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW! It’s just all effed up. I’m weighing my options on another phone at this point. I’m so done.

If any of you find yourself here. Hopefully you didn’t make the mistake of going the find my phone site for Samsung. There’s nothing there that will remedy this. THERE USED TO BE THE UNLOCK FEATURE, but that’s gone. I actually went to the Samsung site to get CS. Before I was guided to an agent, I was interacting with the ai chat bot. The solution it gave me was to go to the find my phone site and use the unlock feature. THAT’S WHAT WE ARE DEALING WITH! Complete ineptitude, nobody ever told the system that they took that feature out almost two years ago! TWO F**** YEARS! Apparently, the only solution is to hardboot the phone. I haven’t been able to find anything else. The best customer service could do is to tell me to walk into an authorized Samsung repair and see what they could do. Not holding my breath for hope on that one. I strongly believe, it is time to get new non-samsung phone. I’ve been loyal to these f***s for well over a decade; AND POS APPLE IS NO SOLUTION EITHER. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet.
What is the problem with your phone exactly?
Aww buddy im sitting here absolutely gutted fir you.
Just out of curiosity i was going to lock the phone on find my things after messing about with it but seen your post and im so glad i diddnt now.
There is a way you can open it by useing the last pin you remember i think.
Hope you get this sorted.
I found this phone after I bricked my phone. I forgot the pattern on my phone as I was using the biometrics for the longest time. I can’t do shit now other than go to the service center and get a hard reset done. Had originally changed the lock pattern because my son saw it and was using the phone. The unlock feature on the smart things webiste is non existant
