Something has changed in the last month or so, and posts are now locked from editing for me after just a month or two. This Really reduces the value of the forum as an information archive. 
Just as one example, I started a thread in July about the new official TP Link integration. At that time it was unidirectional. An update in the last week or so has changed it so that it is now bidirectional, but I can’t edit the post to note that.
There are similar issues all over the forum.
We used to have somewhere between 18 months and two years to edit posts. This was usually enough to keep up with the changes for any given model.
Was there a reason for this change, and if not, can we get a longer edit. Before the freeze?
