Edge Driver needed for the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor Using the 'Z-Wave Plus Door/Window Sensor' DTH

It doesn’t appear to have worked, I have also deleted and added the sensor again, it doesn’t appear to recognise the sig?

My smartthings web portal is showing the below, which is the same location i got the previous sigs from.

Manufacturer Code
0346-0301-0202

Please try again
Driver time stamp should be
Driver Id 1516dc8e-b6bc-4039-adb3-50af08bc067c
Name Z-Wave Ring Sensor
Package Key zwave-sensor
Version 2024-06-29T15:00:16.106429479

Working perfectly now, settings also gives the options for delays and sensitivity etc. I’ve ordered 3 more as the are on offer for only £5 each

Thanks again for taking the time to offer support :+1:

Hi Milan, hoping for a bit of help, having problems with Ring door sensor 2, i have checked and downloaded latest driver version, but not seeing it properly in app. Having read threads, sounds like Z Wave finger prints issue, maybe.

Model no: 0201-0401
Mfg code: 0346-0201-0401

that’s the above details of the device, if you could add to driver when you a few minutes spare, that would be great.

thanks, Paul.

Can you try now. Driver info:

Just updated driver, all good and now working in ST app. Thanks for update and your time this evening, all the best, Paul :+1:

Hi @milandjurovic71 Can you share the fingerprints.yaml for the updated z-wave repeater?, Is your repo public?, if can you share the URL plz.
Thanks,
-g

Sorry I am new to ST world, i am looking fingerprints.yaml for the updated z-wave repeater, that’s the invitation link to the channel, is there a way to pull fingerprints.yaml from there?

If he doesn’t publish his GitHub info, you can get the fingerprints for a driver installed on your hub using the community developed ST API Browser+. Devices->Drivers->“select driver” ->Details. Fingerprints are displayed near the bottom of the driver details.

Thanks, everything in the API browser works except Devices->Drivers:
https://api.smartthings.com/v1/drivers/ comes empty and if manually try:
https://api.smartthings.com/v1/drivers/916b185e-a751-4e0d-b2c0-95e38e822c3f

i get :
{“requestId”:“XXXXXXXXXX”,“error”:{“code”:“UnauthorizedError”,“message”:“User doesn’t own driver”,“details”:}}

I got the details for ring range extender from some other place:

Ring Range Extender

  • id: “0346/0401/0301”
    deviceLabel: Ring Repeater/Extender
    manufacturerId: 0x0346
    productType: 0x0401
    productId: 0x0301

You have to have the driver installed on your hub in order to get the driver information from the API or API Browser+.

Yes, if the driver is not owned by you, the API does not includes it the response..
Since then using the information I found, I published a new driver and now the API response includes that

My new driver is explained in this post:
