Hi @ivhazu

I need device model too

I confirm that the strip range is 2700k 3000k

Hi @ivhazu

This model exist in driver yet.
The problem is your strip temperature Color range.

You can choose in preferences the maximum color temp of 3000 k in preferences for the circadian function, for the rest of the functions I would have to modify the code or create anew option profile and new VIDs to adapt them to your strip, but it will take us a few days, I have a lot of work now

Hi @Mariano_Colmenarejo, Thanks you very much.

Hi Mariano,

Just wanted to say thank you for your hard work on this. I’m new to SmartThings and this is the first driver or customization I’ve added. It was pretty intuitive, and after rebooting my hub it seems to work great. Using Philips Hue Zigbee LED strips for an artificial window project. Very grateful for your efforts!

Hello @Mariano_Colmenarejo , you have done a great work! I was searching through community for simple dimming functionality for ikea bulbs using button but found tons of functionalities your driver offers!
I have seen conversation in this topic regarding faulty label display and hoping to find a solution soon!

I have also noticed one peculiar behavior while controlling dimming β€œLevel by External Steps”. When the level is dimmed to β€œ0” and when I again press the level down button then light level instead of remaining at 0, it randomly jumps to 26, 36 etc levels. Is this behavior a bug or some feature?

Hi @anuragk

This is due to in the automation the Switch is set to β€œActivate” by default, so 2 commands are executed. The ON command executes a code and the Level By External Steps command executes another.

Deactivate the β€œActivate” switch by clicking on it and will works fine

Thanks for spotting that! I feel like stupid, I didnt see what is happening even when config was infront of me and you could see the issue even when you were not seeing what my config is.

By the way, the label display issue could be probably due to a presentation config format change. Im not sure how the label text in your code are β€œwired” but at first look it seems quite different than what the document says Capability Presentations | SmartThings Developers

Could be a little too soon for this suggestion, especially after your previous paragraph, I guess you like to live dangerously!

@Alwas Well, you seem to be too eager to form an opinion about someone whom you barely know. If you were an experienced developer you would know that even the smartest of developers sometimes fails to see a simple issue right infront of them and they dont shy from admitting it.
Anyway, my suggestion was just a suggestion just incase it was missed, not meant to challange anyone’s expertise.

Hi @anuragk

I hope a new version of the app will fix it again and if it doesn’t fix it, I don’t know what I’ll do. Doing translations of all the custom capabilities doesn’t do me any good.

Its ok. I just wanted to know if it is something you might have already gone through but it didnt help. I will try to work on it and send you the updated files if it fixes the issue for me.

Hi! Thank you for this great all-in-one driver, I am using it for most of my Ikea lights. However, I just bought two Tradfri bulbs that are not yer included, these are the details:

Hello Mariano,

Could the following device be added?

  • endpointId: 01

And a question on the side:

When using IKEA bulbs (E27, E14) without an Edge driver, a CCT slider shows, letting you control the white spectrum of the bulb. But with your Edge driver, this seems missing? Is this a function you see added in the future of the driver?
