I didn’t take into account that this ikea bulb is ZLL and I don’t know if the default libraries support it
Ok. No problem at all. It works well without ability to change colors. And maybe it is time for me to get rid of color bulbs anyway.
Share that the Smotech SM301Z motion sensor pairs perfectly with the official Zigbee Motion Sensor beta driver.
Corresponds in the fingerprint file to the manufacturer TUYATEC-zn9wyqtr and model RH3040
I always reference to your first post here for the list of all compatible devices.
Yes, but in the list I did not put the models and manufacturers of the original smartthing beta driver.
This is in the original fingerprints, but the model that appears on the device is not the one with which it is registered in smartthings
@Mariano_Colmenarejo can you create standard Zigbee Smart Plug Edge Driver. Those devices usually have On/Off function, and some of them have energy monitoring. It should be straight forward with us providing fingerprints.
I am taking about this kinda of plugs. This are pretty common.
If you want to try here is fingerprint for one of mine plugs
Raw Description 01 0104 0009 01 05 0000 0003 0004 0005 0006 01 0000
@milandjurovic71
That model is already lying in the list of the zigbee switch driver
Exist with profile plug (icon plug) and switch (icon switch)
oh, you mean the device icon
, right? That is defined in the metadata of the device profile. Mariano has changed this value successfully for other devices so, if this belongs to his released drivers, he can help you out.
Just as a reminder, here’s the list of the supported icons @Mariano_Colmenarejo:
I believe these are the needed values:
Smart Plug
oic.d.smartplug
@nayelyz and @Mariano_Colmenarejo yes, device icon. Previously it was shown as plug, now with Edge driver shows as a switch, which is incorrect. It should be the plug.
It’s already changed.
There are two models from the manufacturer ewelink that are identical, one is a switch without external switch input and the other is a plug.
I have put both, I will remove one, with the plug icon, @nayelyz, I do not see a way to differentiate them in the fingerprint
@nayelyz with previous DTH, you would go and add device by Brand, and device would display correct icon, as next step would be to select product type
Now we don’t have that choice.
In my opinion switch driver, should be separate from plug driver, as they are different devices and some plugs have energy monitoring.
@milandjurovic71,
I have this one, which identifies with the manufacturer and model exactly the same as your plug.
They cannot be differentiated in the fingeprint.yml file.
You can put a different id. and different profile, but it matches the one it wants, since they have the same manufacturer and model.
can make 2 different drivers
If you pair it again it will have the plug icon
I could switch the edge driver if wrong one is associated. I could have choise to switch from switch to plug, and vice versa.
I not trying to be picky, just going through this as is Beta, and reporting what i see, and what could be a solution. Especially seeing how many treads are about incorrect icons
Yes, we’re still under beta testing for Edge drivers, the devices that appear in the catalog went through the WWST or CST certification.
Installing the devices through the path you mention doesn’t define the device icon, it is set by the DTH’s metatada (presentation, etc.).
The issue with the device icon using only the device category
is already reported, we need to add those properties in the metadata for now.
Do you have the original DTH that paired those devices, @Mariano_Colmenarejo?
The dth is zigbee switch and this fingerprint:
fingerprint profileId: "0104", inClusters: "0000, 0003, 0004, 0005, 0006", outClusters: "0000", manufacturer: "eWeLink", model: "SA-003-Zigbee", deviceJoinName: "eWeLink Outlet", ocfDeviceType: "oic.d.smartplug" // eWeLink SmartPlug (SA-003).
But for my switch, which has the same fingerprint, I put the switch icon.
Aren’t they these fingerprints? I see one is for the Outlet and the other one for the Switch, but the model is different:
The switch has the model ZB-SW01
You are right @nayelyz, that’s my plug (outlet)
