I have now another two problem childs. Both are 4gang Switches from MCO which I cannot properly configure with the driver. Other 4gang Switches I have work properly.
Here the device info.
Your device shows 0000 in the fingerprints.
This means that it has not been paired correctly. You usually need to move it closer to the hub during pairing.
Thanks Mariano for your input. Indeed the hub was quite far away. so I move right next. One switch connected, though first with MCO Z-Wave driver, but I could then easily switch to your driver.
But now thereβs one problem child left. This I cannot connect properly with your driver. Once added I cannot switch to your driver as it is not on the list on the app. Through the IDE I can select the driver but thereβs an error message saying that the fingerprints are not supported.
Thatβs the product manual: https://www.mcohome.com/ProductDetail/3894254.html
I donβt know what you mean by this.
Child devices cannot be changed drivers.
If that child device was created with another driver you have to delete it.
When you talk about a device, please tell me its fingerprints so I know how it works in the driver
I cannot create any child device. So I wanted to change the driver for the whole or main device.
Iβm desperately trying to find the fingerprints
You can get the fingerprints from the Advanced Web App or the API Browser+.
Than, donβt know both of it. Any link where I can find details?
Iβve received feedback from the manufacturer. The standard device id should be 0x015F and model is MH-S314
Your device still not pairing well with driver.
0000-0000-0000 show in fingerprints for manufactures, priductType and productId.
Try pairing it very near of the hub
Anytime a device shows with zeros or blanks in the manufacturer or model field it means the pairing was unsuccessful, and there is no edge driver that can work with it until you have a good pairing.
The most common reason for this was that the device was too far away and timed out before the pairing could complete.
Itβs frustrating, but you just have to remove the device from your account and try pairing again until you get a good pairing.
Most people do this by bringing the hub closer to the device or the device closer to the hub before trying again.
I tried already and just now again - moved the hub right next to the device, without success.
I have ten others of these devices which are working, so I might try to get a return from the shop.
Or anyone an idea how to pair?
Iβve tried now countlessly to pair the device. As a last try I re-installed physically the switch (basically removed from electrecity and added back). And now it worked awesome journey behind me now but ir works so far.
I hove now another issue. The 4 gang switches is properly configure, but the switch 4 does not show. For the two Gang switch the βmainβ switch is controlling only one switch. Whereas for the 4 gang it is still the main switch, thus I cannot control switch no 4.
For multi-component devices, the smartthings edge philosophy from the beginning was that the main component controls physical S1, switch1 controls S2, switch2 controls S3, switch3 controls S4 and so on.
For zigbee I changed it from my first drivers, but for zwave I didnβt change it to match smartthings and Iβm not going to change it now.
Therefore when you press switch3 it will control the S4 of your device.
Yep, Iβve messed up the numbers but this is not the Problem. I o la yan control 3 of the 4 switches, this is the Problem
Pelease, publish the fingerprints from smartthings adavanced users
It should work fine, but install this version of the driver.
