Hi, something strange happened. I’ve republished the driver now.

Hi, I have trouble pairing the E1 Neutral Double-rocker switch - QBKG41LM (lumi.switch.b2nc01).

When I put the switch into pairing mode the leds are blinking until I start the device discovery in SmartThings. Then after couple of seconds blinking stops, so it looks like it has been connected/paired with hub, but no new device appear in the app. Tried multiple times, with two switches without any luck. I also have couple of single rocker no-neutral switches (QBKG38LM) and these works without any problems.

Can you pleas give me som advice what shoud I do to debug and find the source of problem?

Thanks.

I don’t see this model is supported , that’s why no device is added to the ST

Thank you for your reply.
I found out that it’s listed in fingerprints, so I tought it is already supported.

Is it possible that this swich will be supported in the future?
Thanks.

try adding the device with a generic Zigbee driver (they are available on Mariano’s and ST channels) and then switching to the Aqara driver

Hi, I have a Xiaomi mini Button that I have been using for years and upgraded to your Edge driver last year. Last week, the button stopped working. I replaced the CR2032 battery, twice, to no avail.
I tried long pressing the LINK hole so the LED blink 3 times. The switch still doesn’t appear. Finally I have to remove the device. But now I cannot add it back. What is the step to add a generic Zigbee device? I tried the “Scan nearby” function and it didn’t find my switch.

As far as I recall, connecting older Xiaomi devices is a real hassle. You have to keep the device awake by pressing a button every second while scanning for available devices. This process can take several sessions, and what’s worse, the ST application sometimes doesn’t display devices that were previously linked in the scan results. I ended up scanning on one device and periodically refreshing the default room on another.

Just tried putting it in pairing and click the button continuously. Still couldn’t get it to show up. Adding IoT devices is really a pain. Them randomly dropping off, especially after running out of battery or power outage is really annoying.

It was so long ago. I don’t even remember how I paired mine in the first time. But it was before the Edge driver was a thing.

Here are some instructions regarding pairing Aqara devices:

Having set everything up with the above this is the approach I take every time and every time it works to get these devices registered.

  1. I make sure that I can get the Sensor within 1 inch of the front of my Aeotec v3 hub.

  2. Run a scan for devices in Smartthings

  3. For each sensor I follow the process of holding down the pairing button for 5 seconds until I see the 3 blinks. I then press the reset button on a 1 second cadence always ending it before the scanning cycle completes. (No proof currently but again my perception of this is over a few different deployments is that ending before the scan cycle works the best)

I suggest to do this while the LOG is open on @veonua driver and you can see that the device added

Greetings to all!

Are Aqara devices still problematic in a sense that they lose pairing and have to be re-added eventually? Would Aqara hub actually help here?

M2 or M3 in that case? If my ST hub is Matter/Thread capable, maybe no need for M3?

The reason I mentioned Aqara hub was the issues I was facing with Aqara devices like temp and humidity sensor, button, cube, motion P1 before in the times of Groovy, but also in the early days of drivers.

To even add any I would have to power off all of my other zigbee devices, then it would take a few attempts until I managed to add, and eventually, after some time, they would drop out again, cube especially, but all of them. If a simple inexpensive M2 Aqara hub would fix this, I’m all in

Hi…
I see the fingerprints for the Aqara E1 wall switches with Neutral in your driver, however I’m unable to add them to my hub despite the driver is installed…

  • id: “QBKG40LM”
deviceLabel: QBKG40LM E1 Wall Switch (With Neutral, Single Rocker)
    manufacturer: LUMI
    model: lumi.switch.b1nc04
    deviceProfileName: switch-neutral-button
    • id: “QBKG41LM”
deviceLabel: QBKG41LM E1 Wall Switch (With Neutral, Double Rocker)
      manufacturer: LUMI
      model: lumi.switch.b2nc01
      deviceProfileName: switch-neutral-button-2

They are not even showing as ‘Zigbee Thing’ or ‘Zigbee Switch’
Is there any special pairing instructions for these? I have both the 1 & 2 rocker versions, and both not pairing.

I long press, they turn on/off, start blinking fast, then stop & blink 3 times slow as if they have successfully paired, then nothing appears in my app!!

Any pointers?

Same answer also to you…
