Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Still nothing. I even used my wifeâs iPhone (I use Android).
I also moved the presence sensor close to the ST hub just in case it was too far away and still nothing. Still shows up at a thing and I cannot designate the driver.
I did confirm that the presence sensor driver is installed.
Itâs it possible to uninstall the driver and reinstall?

And if you have some kind of Zigbee Thing driver installed, then thatâs your problem.
I finally got it. I enrolled the driver, but didnât install it. Once I installed the driver the presence sensor added perfectly and it works great now. Thank you for the help.

Hoe did you get it to recongize as a presence sensor. I have an aotek hub v3 and it wonât download the drivers properly. I have my m3 hub connected to smartthigns via matter and i have tried to connect the fp1e via matter over the m3b hub and directly to smartthings. When i add the device directly via the smartthigns app it only says device connected. And acts as a weird bridge. When i connect it to smartthings by adding it to thr m3 hub first and then smartthings picks it up by matter, it only reads as a motion sensor. I am really frustrated as i have been woeking on this for weeks and cannot get it to read or download the correct drivers.
What do you mean? Do you have an error message?
Where did you find thr correct driver? I donât know how to add the fp1e driver to be read correctly add as presence sensor. The app only recognizes it as either a motion sensor (if connected via matter through the aqara m3 hub) or it reads as some zibee extender for a light switch. I am pretty stumped. I have an Aotek smartthings hub by the way.
Ah no. Like the fp1e was connencted to smartthings through a matter bridge via the aqara m3 hub. When i add the device to smartthings this way it only reads as a motion sensor and it is the only time it partially functions. I think itâs using a generic zigbee motion sensor driver.
When i connect directly with no third party driver enrollment. Smartthings recongizes it ad a zigbee thing and the connection path is from aeotek hub>zigbee light switch>zigbee thing(the fp1e hub i added.) But it doesnât do anything. Acts like it needs a bridge to directly connect to the hub
I tried Michaelâs driver enrollment. Removed and readded the device and got the the FP1E to show a presensce sensing option as well as a motion sensing option and the ranges detection. But it the device doesnât function. I cannot change the range as itâs stuck at 0ft. And wven when i stand in front of the device it wonât even detect motion or presence. Walkwd around the area for 5 minutes and nothing. So i donât know if smartthings is adding the drivers correctly.
By the way the connection path still shows hub>zigbee switch(a light switch in my garage)>fp1e.
I am about at my wits end. Tried refreshing in the webui as well and it didnât help.
