Can we get distance and other location-based metadata of devices using smart tag API? I currently do not own any device. So I can’t test whether this feature exists or not.
No. The current location, and a seven day location history (which has ‘Labs’ status), is only exposed in map form in SmartThings Find within the SmartThings app.
Indeed everything about the tag is restricted to the tools provided. It is very frustrating.
