With Edge drivers there are no child devices. All switches are contained in a single device.
Hi @Paul_Oliver,
OK, I was refering to your recommendation of driver. May be @Mariano_Colmenarejo driver.
I am not developer, just enthusiast. So, hear about edge driver but cannot put it in my context.
Zemismart site recomended DH and I had one child, bot master and child controling all three buttons at same time. Master didnât have options for subdevices inside or childs were created as expected.
In the meantime, I added this in @Mariano_Colmenarejo driver:
fingerprint profileId: "0104", deviceId: "0100", inClusters: "0003, 0004, 0005, 0006, E000, E0001, 0000", outClusters: "0019, 000A", manufacturer: "_TZ3000_w58g68s3", model: "TS0003", deviceJoinName: "Uki SW"
and
case 'TS0003' : return 3
based on instructions from WooBooungs DH.
Still, using Marianoâs or WooBooungs DH - one virtual switch control all three phisical/virtual buttons.
I use @Mariano_Colmenarejo Edge driver for my 3 gang zeimsmart switch. It creates 1 device with a main switch and 2 sub switches nos. 1 & 2. Than I use @Mariano_Colmenarejo virtual mirror switches to create separate switch devices for switches 2 & 3, but that step is not necessary.
Prior to using the Edge driver I also used WooBooungs DTH. It also worked well, but I wanted to be ready for the shut down of Groovy, do I switched.
I got this driver direct from store. It is also woobooungâs driver. It has added few more devices and little changed code.
Maybe someone would have use of it.
Does not solve my problem. I get second and third switch but with turning any switch it activates all three together.
While waiting for sellers instructions I connected switch directly to Smart Life app/Tuya hub, and:
- got much more options (i.e. can set indicator leds to be on for on state, off state or while pressing)
- graphic representation as one switch with 3 buttons
- appeared in Smartthings app through Smart Life - Smartthings integration
I donât know why I insist on smartthings hub⌠I connected aquara temperature sensors and lost some features I had on Aquara hub, trying to get roller shades switches - cannot find it in store (ment for tuya, able to connect to smartthings), water leakage sensors also stayed on tuyaâŚ
Much more affordable devices and solid application.
ActionTiles integration is only advantage of Smartthings over Tuya ecosystem.
Even Samsung TV Smartthing integration didnât fulfill my expectations (some widgets for temperature sensors over stream, not entering far in menu to get some info or action buttonâŚ).
Smartthings widgets on Samsung watch not so practical⌠Samsung mobile phone - smartthings, nothing special to offer over non-samsung phone and Tuya app (for devices features except phone and TV, e.g. streaming both waysâŚ).
I know second part of post is not for this forum but I had need to open my tired samsung soul
