Three outdoor modules obtained at the $10 price from a store that refused previously. I tried going to a normal cashier first who said they couldn’t price match other Lowe’s stores but the customer service desk was ok with it.
Another employee stepped in to try to stop it, but the manager who gave my CS rep the approval came over and put it through. The other employee seemed to take it personally.
My takeaway from this is that retail is extremely weird and arbitrary.
Good deal, and this does come with the hub, so it should work with SmartThings. We should note that at least when I checked the link this was the “smart control” not the “home control.” Home control has now been renamed the “home companion”)
They’re very similar but the “home control” does have four extra toggle buttons that work specifically for home automation devices.

We each have our “own” vanity and closet as well. However no matter how much emphasis i put on it the old saying what’s hers is hers what’s his is ours sure seems to inevitably hold true. But she doesn’t venture into the garage that often so it’s the stash point for the time being.
She owns the garage as well. I leave early for work. So, my car “lives” on the driveway. At least I take care of the finances (she is not interested at all). So, the week devices arrives, it’s like “Honey! Don’t you think we are spending to much on our groceries or eating out too often”! Go ahead! I am the devil.
True. When I saw it in the morning I checked for the hub. I do have the Home Control with the 4 buttons for the HA devices, but frankly I don’t use them.
I found the only good use for those 4 buttons are the livingroom lights, since already have clicker in hand. The other 2 I assigned to the front door lock and thermostat ( not that I ever actually turn up the heat or a/c ) Lock works good since I can see the front door from my perch on the couch and on cameras so I know who is knocking.
