For the Wyze plug you would need to use Alexa or Google Home. No hardware is needed. To use Alexa you need to create an Alexa virtual switch (a virtual switch with an integrated contact sensor) as an intermediary. For Google Home you can use your light as a direct trigger.
For Geeni you could be also use Alexa. Or you could use the ST - Tuya integration for the Geeni plugs. Using the Tuya integration will probably require a work around to get them to show up in ST.
