Control RF Devices

Does anyone know of an interface device to 433MHz devices compatible with Smartthings?
I have a BroadLink RM Pro +, and I had to create automations on its app because it can’t be integrated to Smartthings.

Switchbot I do believe… @JDRoberts would know for sure.

Switchbot , unfortunately, doesn’t do 433 MHz.

The most reliable way to do it is with an Arduino-based transmitter, but you need maker skills. Here’s the thread on that. Know that these days since the thingshield is no longer available, most people are working instead with an ESP WiFi device.

What would you expect to do or want to do if you could integrate your Broadlink to SmartThings?

I have an RMPro and it can be integrated to Smartthings through IFTTT, an Alexa integration using the Voicemonkey skill - Alexa Voicemonkey Skill, or Homeassistant using the Broadlink and Smartthings integrations - https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/smartthings/ and https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/broadlink/

I use it to control mini split airconditioners. Until recently I was controlling an RF ceiling fan with it as well. IFTTT is the easiest to setup, but they charge a fee now. The other options are more complicated.

Thank you all.
First the RM Pro was already working, under the Broadlink app. I changed the wifi network at home and can’t reconfigure the thing. It was very hard to get it to work in the first place and I don’t want to invest so much time and effort in this thing. And integration through Alexa or Home Assistant introduces dependencies. What if I want to replace the “intermediary” later? I am surprised that there are no products on the market. I will look into the Arduino suggestion, I’ve just done an Arduino project.
Oh and for HalD Hal, I want/need to control RF controlled shades with it.
Thanks again.
Arie.

Here’s the most recent thread regarding using ESP with ST_anything. Note that it was updated just a couple of months ago to work with the new V3 app. :sunglasses:

I use Sonoff 433 RF bridge, flashed with Tasmota, and Tasmota (Connect) SmartApp.
