Constant Reminder, in Error

In the app, every time I open it, it reminds me that I "have a device that can be connected to SmartThings” with VIEW DETAILS/CLOSE buttons. If I view the details, it’s two old implementations of some Arlo cameras and LIFX bulbs I used to own, but haven’t had active for months. There’s a DELETE option on the “3 dot” menu in the upper-right, but the message only reappears the next time I run the app. Is there any way to get rid of this permanently ?

Hi, @80sTiger
I suggest you contact Customer Support since there are no agents here and we don’t know what would cause this behavior.
There might be something still registered in your account causing this, I suggest you report it after reproducing it and send the following info:

  1. Screenshots of the issue
  2. Include timestamps of when it happened (including your timezone)
  3. Accept the generation of the app logs during the reporting process.

From the ST app

  1. Open the SmartThings app
  2. Go to the menu tab at the bottom-right corner.
  3. On this page, select the option “contact us” and then go to “Error reports”
  4. Select the topic related to your issue and follow the steps to submit your support request

@nayelyz is the reason possibly that these devices are WiFi coming into SmartThings via c2c linked services?
If the cloud integration is still linked to SmartThings then even if the device is deleted from SmartThings the device will still appear on the linked account on lifx causing SmartThings to prompt for adding it again.

If that is the reason then maybe deleting the device from lifx will solve it, or if necessary removing the linked service completely if it’s no longer needed ?
