CO Sensor running on LIT mode

So … about that CO sensor. Even though beta 60.7 now claims to run it in LIT mode, it keeps going offline and then coming back hours later, roughly once a day.

Shall we fork a separate thread or discuss here?

The engineering team mentioned they need the following information to continue the investigation of your issue:

  1. Device name
  2. The CO sensor’s software version. It can be found on the information page in the device detail page

Thanks, @Peter-M, the engineering team confirmed that the device is running software version 1.0 . This is a known problematic software version for the device when running LIT support, the manufacturer at this time does have an update which fixes many of these issues but the version has not been certified yet by the CSA.
They suggest you keep this device in SIT mode until software version 1.5 becomes available.

Thanks for the quick update. So I’m going to SIT this out until the device firmware update comes through.

Update … it went offline again this morning even though I set it to SIT mode the evening prior.

There seems to be a 23 hour rhythm to it going offline and coming back. I’ll keep watching, but ultimately I don’t think we need to do anything but wait for that firmware.

I shall report back here whenever that happens.
