Cannot add Leviton Decora WiFi switches

Have SmartThings HUB and trying to add Leviton Decora WiFi switches & dimmers.
Have an abundance of the switches, all working fine in the Leviton app and via IFTTT.

When I try to add them in the SmartThings (Android) app I get the following message:

“We’re having trouble connecting. Check your network connection and try again.”

If I go to the web interface (graph…api.smartthings.com) the log says:

error java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected status code 400 from global /clients/null with status text Bad Request @line 357 (deviceDiscoveryPage)

Tried to find a way to open a support ticket on samsung.com but that was pretty hopeless.

So back to asking the community. Or maybe someone can guide me as to how to open a support ticket.

Thanks.

I might have found the answer.

I originally registered an old HUB in Europe. My new HUB is registered in the US, but the graph… API does go to the EU server here https://graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.com/

That’s probably why. I’ll have to see if I can figure out how to get that moved.

There are many different “shards,” cloud-based servers, that are used by smartthings. Going to the wrong one can cause various problems.

Instead, always use the universal sign on:

https://account.smartthings.com

And that will automatically take you to the correct URL for your account. :sunglasses:

FAQ: How to find out what "shard" (cloud slice IDE URL) your Account / Location is on?

As far as support, as long as the app is working you can get to support from there.

From the main screen, choose “menu“ from the bottom right.

Then choose the little gear icon in the upper right. There should be a link to help at the bottom of that page.

Afraid only solution was to delete my Samsung account, recreate the account, and the re-register the HUB. After all that trouble I could add the switches
