I could have posted that comment. Of course the kitchen (plus more) loan is what kicked off the smart home project. Here’s hoping some Lutron Caseta stuff shows up on sale.

You might want to add

Sonos Beam 299.00 (70 off) - limit 3
Sonos Playbar 529.00 (120 off) - limit 3

I am pretty sure everyone will have these Sonos discounts, but they are printed on Costco’s add.

Amazon has it for that price for some Prime members now ($49.99 - $25 discount)

Sale Extended!

ActionTiles #FallBack & #SDC19 Sale: $23.99 through Nov 11th, 2019.

Not technically a “Black Friday & Cyber Monday” deal (yet), but ActionTiles is on sale for $23.99 (regularly $28.99) per SmartThings Location/Hub through November 4th, 2019.

No coupon code needed for this promotion. Just dive into the free-trial using the APP LOGIN button on the website below:

Strange, I only see it for $39.95.

Debating if I want to use these on my TV’s rather than the built in tv apps. I’ve normally leaned more towards Roku, allowing better google integration. $25 will make me think.

The $25 is an Amazon targeted promotion only available to certain Amazon accounts.

Aren’t these $100 each full price?

I want to get 2 of those new Echos and another Echo Sub. That will only put me at about 40 Alexa devices…

How do you like the Echo Sub? Was thinking about recommending it and a pair of Echos to a friend for their reading/listening room for a simple and cheap 2.1 setup.

I had/have dots connected to regular subs to add low end to the Echos when they are playing music. Worked great but had to use them in WHA groups and the volumes do not work collectively.

The Echo Subs do not add a ton of low end but does fill the music out nicely. They would be perfect at $100 but for $130 they are priced too high. Especially considering you can get a dot and a nice 2.1 Soundbar that would blow a single Echo out of the water for under $200. Depending on brand, would also blow two Echos and an Echo Sub out of the water!

However, I have 4 Echo Subs and I love the “ease of use”. Again, if you are looking for window shattering bass then these will not impress you.

I wouldn’t recommend theses for dedicated “listening”…However, if you wanted better coverage of Alexa and a little boosts to your music, I endorse the combo 100%. Also the 3rd Gen Echo do sound better than the 2nd Gen but still lacked that low end needed for me to “feel” the music.

There are much better solutions for “listening”. You can always add Alexa to that for just $25.

 Did I even answer your question?:rofl:

haha, kinda. I wouldn’t say they need audiophile grade sound. Just something with more low end for streaming Spotify. Really i’m in an internal debate with recommending going Sonos everywhere and having to get dots for every room, or just do Echo devices.
