Looking for recommendations on getting a siren compatible with SmartThings. I’ve been wanting one that’ll do siren and chime sounds so I’d gotten the Dome siren, but wasn’t impressed. It didn’t seem loud enough and the chimes seemed distorted. That ones rated at 105 dB and was thinking about getting the Aeotec siren but it’s not much louder at 106 db. However I’ve heard you can upload your own sounds so another thing I’m wondering is could the Aeotec be used with Big Talker for notifications?
I have the Aeotec Siren. It is actually very, very loud. Not sure about the ratings vs yours. Depending on the acoustics of your home you may consider multiple Sirens.
