On V2 hub and classic app, I almost exclusively used WebCore for all critical/complex rules. I migrated to the V3 hub and the new app this week. It has been brutal and WebCore sin’t playing nicely with Virtual Switches.
In the new app, is it possible to perform the following automation using Life360 sensors:
“If the family is not home and STHM is set and one of us arrives, change STHM to Disarmed.”
IF:
Presence 1 is Not Present
Or
Presence 2 is Not Present
Or
Presence 3 is Not Present
And
Presence 3 Arrives
And
SHTM is Armed (away)
I use WebCore for all my automations and the virtual swtiches work fine. The only thing that is annoying is that they show up as “Offline” even though they function correctly.
My I’m Back piston deals with 3 people without issue.
Maybe how yours are defined with the DTH?
What DTH do you use for your virtual switches?
I was wondering if you had chosen something that is causing you grief.
There is simulated switch or virtual switch. I use simulated switch or simulated dimmer switch.
They are virtual switches created by the Virtual Device Creator. The WebCore community also suggested changing the DTH to Simulated Switch. My biggest hiccup is the inability to use the state of STHM in WebCore.
