Hey guys. I’m needing to automate a smartplug so that it comes on when a sensor reaches a certain temperature. What should I use to accomplish this?
I’m trying to set up an automation in the new ST app and when trying to save it keeps giving me “a network error occurred. Try again later.”???
You must be using the new app. Happens a lot to me. I usually have to stop the app, not just shut it down, then restart it. Both Android and iOS, so I assume it’s a platform issue.

Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish and whether the new app is supposed to be able to do it (I’m still using the old), but in case it’s for a block heater you can try this: Time AND temperature trigger for a smartplug (Car engine block heater)?
