I’m setting up a new pond and I thought what a good idea if it was network connected ..so I could monitor temperature , control the flow of water in my waterfall , alerts when the filter needed changing … even watch my fish swimming … Just thinking out loud for someone to take up my idea
I know OASE have an APP … but SMARTHINGS integration would be cool
Sure, people have done ponds in the past, but as always, the details matter. You can get different kinds of information and alerts with different device models, but it depends on exactly what you want to do.
I’ve tagged your post with the Irrigation projects tag, so click on that to see some of the past discussions. Anything that mentions a smart app is likely to be out of date. Well actually anything that’s older than 2024. But the general approach and sometimes the individual devices will still apply. It’s just the way the automations are handled will be different.

Thanks JD , I was hoping for a ‘system/partner device’’ supported by SMARTHINGS …. OASE now have a WIFI system that runs to there own APP … For other reasons it looks like I’m going the HOZELOCK cyprio route which doesn’t have any SMART intergration… Just wondered if any other manufacture had come up with anything.
Maybe I’m not being clear .. but I’m referring to an ornimental FISH pond and not a swimming pool
