Many of the most advanced features like music sync will only be available through Govee’s own app, but the matter integration does offer lighting basics.
This isn’t the lowest price ever, which was $99 at Black Friday, but $109 is a very good price for this item.

Another good price from Govee, this time for their outdoor wall lights. IP 65, so excellent weatherproofing. 1500 lm, which is bright. Matter over Wi-Fi.

There’s a lot to like about the new Aqara G5 outdoor camera. It acts as a Matter Bridge To bring aqara Zigbee devices into SmartThings, but it’s also a thread border router, in case you need one outdoors. Nice small security camera which works with HomeKit secure video. The one with the white case is on sale for the Amazon big spring sale. The one with the black case is at the original list price.
Oh, and it can use either 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi, and you will get faster picture transmission at the higher speed. 
It doesn’t integrate as a camera with SmartThings because Matter doesn’t support cameras yet. I’m not sure if the dimmable light shows up as a device or not. The motion sensor definitely does, so you can create smartthings routines to trigger if the camera detects motion. It’s a static camera, no pan and tilt.
You can find lots of video reviews of this right now, it’s been a hot item. 
The video feed of the G5 may not integrate via Matter, but the ST app does say it integrates via the Aqara C2C integration, similar to the G4 doorbell.
One thing strange with the G5 is it does NOT have a micro-sd card for 24/7 recording. Big miss for an outdoor camera IMO and a strange omission from Aqara since their other camera models support this.
Yeah, I’m not sure of the thinking there.

Keeps throwing an error on the last step. Others have gotten it paired to ST. I have it paired to Apple Home and Home Assistant just fine. I do like it. I have it running in Auto mode the majority of the time and hardly ever hear it. Being a table kinda makes you forget its even there.
Verge has their list of the 100 best Amazon big Spring sale 2025 deals, including a few SmartHome items. Nothing too exciting except the eve energy smart plug, which is on sale for its lowest price ever, and which works with SmartThings, including the energy dashboard.

I know today is April Fools but how the heck does Amazon ship me an empty box for an order!!! and it appears their system is not designed to respond to reporting of said empty box. Even their AI chatbot was stuck. of course, since the sale is over - I lose any promo from the sale because I have to reorder at regular price.
