I am trying to add a Range Extender 6 from Aeotec to my SmartHub, cause i need to increase my range, however when i try to pair the extenders i only can add them as a RGBWLight, once i add them i am unable to connect any other sensor using them as a extender, is there something i need to change to have them working as extenders and not as RGBW Light?
Is this still an issue for you?
I just got an Aeotec Range Extender 6 (model ZW117-A01)
Plugged it in, the LED/button on the side started cycling thru colors. Pressed the LED/button and clicked “Add a Thing” in SmartThings Classic app on phone.
It paired right up to my SmartThings V2 hub and was recognized as a Z-Wave Range Extender.
