I am new to this home automation thing. Everywhere I have look ST has the best advice and answers to questions. I have come here because of the advice and ideas that I have seen people share. (I’ll be honest I don’t have a ST but a B.O.B. Zwave Nexia thermostat that I have been using to run my AC, Heating and Humidity. That being said I have decided that I should try to use this to the ability it has and start running lights to it. The issue is the Zwave stitches/dimmers in Canada are a) expensive and b) damn ugly. This had lead me to the Hack @Mike_Maxwell did on the adorned switch. Which I am going to attempt. I have a couple of question to start.
- Does the hack only allow it to momentary push op or does it also work down as well ?
- On a 3 way application do you need to add a micro switch into each location or can you just add it to one location.
As I said I am new to this Z-wave thing so please be gentle. I have been reading the forum for the last couple of weeks as a guest but still get confused.
