Access to smart home monitor

Is it possible to control smart home monitor from a smartapp?

Specifically, I am wondering if there is a way to reset/disarm the current status if an alarm has already been triggered. It is quite cumbersome to load the app every time I want to dismiss a false alarm…

Anyone know of a way to do this?

The only one I know that can do this is webcore. Set up is fairly complicated, but there are a lot of community members who will be glad to help you. They actually have their own separate forum.

No.

There is no published API into Smart Home Monitor, except we have discovered (unofficially), just how to set the Armed Mode (armed-stay, armed-away, disarmed).

There is no way to directly receive notifications, though you could have SHM turn on a Virtual Switch which in turn sends you an alternate form of notification.

There is no way to acknowledge or dismiss the official notifications because SmartThings is keeping the API for this private and proprietary; likely so that they can restrict these to fee-based services (e.g., Scout Alarm Monitoring, ADT Canopy, or other add-on fee-based functionality like "notify neighbor or family).

Yeah, I didn’t think there was… it’s unfortunate, as it’s a big hassle to have to reset an alarm through the app. Thanks for the clarifications.
