54.X Firmware Customer Beta Release

Hey @Joalred . Sorry to hear about your experience.

The fastest way to revert back is to reach out here. Are you sure you want us to revert you back? We weill be releasing 54.8 shortly (today or tomorrow) and perhaps there are some fixes in that release that could resolve the issue.

Also - I would encourage you to reach out to the developer to let them know your experience if you havent already.

Please confirm, and thank you.

Pleased to report my Matter devices are now responding as expected on my beta hub after the update to 54.8.

My local VIRTUAL devices are still not working on the beta hub. On my production hub that wouldn’t bear thinking about.

@alissa.dornbos

I just noticed that even though I opted out of beta my hub updated to 54.8 and to my surprise my Tasmota devices are still not working. Could you please go ahead and revert my hub back to the official firmware?
Many thanks in advance Jorge A.

Hello - I will be sending you a message directly, as a follow up. Thank you.

I’m also seeing that it appears to have resolved the online offline issues I was seeing with zwave battery devices.

When Zach took a look everything seemed OK, and when I took a look it was. The hub was powered off this morning for a while and I suspect that might have helped. It wouldn’t be the first time where a reboot following a hub update has proved beneficial.

Hey @johnconstantelo

I wanted to reach out to see if you are still having issues with Zigbee devices going online/offline now that 54.8 has been released. Are you still experiencing the issue?

Thank you for your time, its always appricated.

Hi @alissa.dornbos , sorry for the delay in responding. Things seem to be going well so far, thanks for reaching out.

EDIT, I spoke too soon. I just noticed a zigbee contact sensor (Iris) that went offline. I’m not sure if it’s battery related or not because it still says 100%, which I don’t believe for a second. I’ll have to wait and see if it comes back on it’s own because I’m nowhere near that location for a few days.

2 posts were split to a new topic: Reset Hub and Now I Can’t Re add it

Hey jkp! Tks for the quick support!

The Model of my routers is the last one made by Samsung (ET-WV525). I was tried to do this Procedure of press pin and, after plug in the power cable, but now my router is in RED light constantly!

Last but not least, I can´t add any HUB into my network (not the primerly or the secondary ones)

when I create my new wifi network (with a 98%) it crash (all the time)…

@Edurato You should reach out to ST support. Those hubs are not part of the 54.x firmware Beta Release so your posts are not appropriate to this thread.

We created a new thread for you so you can post there → https://community.smartthings.com/t/reset-samsung-hub-et-wv525-and-now-i-can-t-re-add-it/286898

Hi @alissa.dornbos ,

I’m back in town and got that contact sensor online again. Even though the battery report in ST says 100%, it was probably below 10 and died.

I’ve been trying to get into the beta for a while now, eventually got into the centercode program but I’m not receiving any of the beta updates. I don’t think I’ve ever got a a single one. Not sure what’s going on there

Hello Everyone,

We are releasing 54.10 to current Customer Beta Participants today, thank you!

Just got around to checking the beta hub for the first time since the update. My local VIRTUAL devices weren’t working in the app again. A quick power cycle on the hub and all was well.

Has anyone noticed a huge battery drain on zigbee devices? Seems a majority of my water leak sensors have experienced the biggest drain. This will be 4 batteries this week I have needed to replace.
