2020 Rundown: Arlo Products and new V3 app?

@nathancu just posted the details on how to use STHM to have a camera record from a SmartThings-connected motion sensor trigger. His cameras are Arlo pros, so that’s the good news. I don’t know if it will work when STHM is disarmed. But it looks like the equivalent of the classic SHM custom alerts.

This is BURIED in the UI. After you setup STHM (you wont see anything until you do) tap on the SmartThings Home Monitor > Banner (new screen) gear icon top right (new screen) tap on the Security header (new screen) tap on Set response There you go… Record Video. [Screenshot_20200820-080610_SmartThings] (…and for the record, my cams are Arlo Pros) I mean - there’s some REALLY bad discoverability issues here. Bad enough to lead end users to believe: No - they do, nobody can find it.
