Zigbee Contact MC driver minimum temp change 1.8 degree F

Hi.

I just purchased contact / temperature sensor model XHS2-TY , XHS2-UE Home Comcast Xfinity Security MCT-350.

After advice from this excellent forum, I selected the Zigbee Contact MC driver from a series of drivers that @Mariano_Colmenarejo created.

It’s working but the granularity is not fine enough for what I need. The 'Temperature Reportable Change’s is set to the minimum of 10, which should give a granularity of 0.1 degree. I noticed the readings are as follows:

71.6
69.8
68
66.2
64.4
66.2
68
69.8

These line up perfectly with whole number increments of degrees Celsius. I was expecting to get at least 0.1 degree Celsius changes reported? Do I need to change another setting?

Hi,

There are devices that do not easily accept configuration changes after initial pairing.

Try sending the new configuration while waking up the device causing an open close event.

There are also devices that have their own programmed configuration and do not accept another
