My outlet comes today, so I’ll update that other discussion with anything I find. I doubt we’ll see an energy version soon. Their previous models had them, so you’d think they’d engineer that same feature in their new models. It wouldn’t surprise me if the accountants got involved and said not to spend any R&D money on that. I can see that being true because if they’re focused on Alexa compatibility, and Alexa doesn’t use power for anything, why spend time and money on it?
The new switches are certainly less expensive than the previous models, and that’s a good thing.
