OK, did that. I thought there was a change for channel 1, but on further testing no, it did not work.
Edit: Seems to get the on, but not the off. I am using classic app on iOS
Second Edit: Seems my hub went offline for 5 mins last night. I am still on 30.03 but now on an off are working for channel 1. Channel 2 is still the same.
Positive thing though. Alexa seems to work for this device now!
Oh, and on exclusion I got no message that the device had been excluded. I only noticed by looking at the IDE and seeing the device had gone. Re-inclusion took a while to show up as well.
I’ve tried the DTH in your repo for Fibaro Dimmer 2 (which was update 17 hours ago). I didn’t exclude the devices as I will have to re do all my entities in Home Assistant. Instead I tried rebooting the ST Hub after updating to this DTH. It shows the execution location as local. Still cannot read the status updates from the wall switch. However for me sometimes exactly after 15 minutes the device state is updated (with the old built in DTH)
My Fibaro FGK-101 door/temp sensor won’t work with temp any more. I try to add them back (after changing battery) and all I ever get is the default stream of open/close and battery even though I have a DTH that handles battery and the devices have been reset to recognize the probe. Tried many modules and temp probes but none will funtion properly now except one existing sensor which I change battery just before new push.
Possibly linked to this as I see the brand Fibaro mention a lot here?
This is NOT just a Fibro issue; I have Philio and MCO devices similarly affected. Therefore a new handler or a Fibro firmware update will not be an acceptable solution.
This was asked above, but how do we make sure we get the new firmware? Some of us are running critical system, so want to minimise the time until this is fixed.
One of my dimmers isn’t reporting status updates from the switch on the wall but the others are fine hopefully this update fixes the issue.
I’m just wondering weather I shouldn’t have gotten fibaro dimmers now as it will be so difficult to update them
Last year I installed the 1st gen (not z-wave plus) Fibaro Flood Sensor in my attic with the purpose of measuring temperature to turn my attic fan off and on. This has worked wonderfully until this week.
FYI I am running the sensor with an external 12v power source (no battery) as this is needed because of the potentially high temps in an attic. This week the temp got ‘stuck’ and kept reading the same thing (99.6) all the time. Power cycle didn’t fix it. It properly reports everything else (tamper, water) I excluded then re-included the device. It still only reports tamper & water. Now temp just shows “–”
Check the threads about the latest hub firmware release.
The update has broken most of the fibaro devices. Including my ubs, implant, and various other brands of switches. It’s 100 % due to the hub firmware update on Monday.
To be honest i have spent 2 days with my fibaro ubs and qubino to try to read the temperature:( . With the fibaro relays i solved everithing updateing the device handler with the original one for fibaro single/double switch and they are working well showing also the status, but the ubs and qubino still nothing and my heating in my home depends on it really angry about this.
This is serious, the sun is out! How am I supposed to see my pool temp without leaving the couch!
At least the most important one in the house is still working, controls the heater on my conical fermenter!
EDIT, CORRECTION!
My brewing temp device failed Monday at 05:00. It was stuck on 22.1. I just repourposed it to the pool and noticed it was dead Jim! Thankfully that meant the heater was off as it comes on at <20. ST would have owed me a batch of Pinot!!!
