I thought I would start this topic to pick some of your brains and find out if anyone has successfully used the new Xbee3 modules as repeaters and secondly if you have been able to keep Xiaomi sensors connected. I have read the other thread “Flakey and Stable” and there is lots of great info of this being successfully done with the Xbee2, however I have not been able to do this with the Xbee3. I can however connect and map my network with the Xbee3, but whenever I am able to get an Xiaomi sensor to route through one of these, they immediately drop off, before the first battery report an hour later. Using the same SN and SP settings recommended for the Xbee2 this isn’t working. I’m thinking this is a Firmware/hardware difference between the v2 and v3 Xbee, but I thought I would throw this out here for comment and suggestion in hopes that someone has an answer.
Did you search for Xbee on the forum yet? There are many, many topics. This is probably the most applicable.
Yes, I have searched. However there’s not much about the new XBee3.
