You do not need to reinstall the device to get device to work with the new or future driver version.
You only need to reinstall the device if the driver changes affect the device configuration.
In this case you need to reinstall it so that the device would be configured with the new value I set in the driver.
I’m glad it works fine, don’t reinstall it anymore.
Has anyone gotten to the bottom of this? I’m about to return these two Aeotec ZWave Leak Sensor Pro’s… This is simply unacceptable. Last 4 Aeotec ZWave sensor purchases have been hot garbage. 2x Recessed Door Sensors and now 2x LSPs. No wonder people are leaving for Habitat, HS4, and HA.
