Want to get SmartThings Geolocation (or SmartThings + Apple Watch) to unlock Yale Conexis door lock

Hi - I’ve had a scan through and can’t seem to find the way to go about this - I’m not a techy but installed a Yale Conexis lock last weekend, and a smartthings hub. I got the new Smartthings app (think I may have wanted the classic now) and am struggling. I can lock and unlock the door with a single click but ideally I’d like:

1. to be able to drive home, have my phones geolocation let the conexis know I’m home and unlock the door
2. be able to get alexa to unlock the door and lock it
3. be able to unlock the door with my apple watch (don’t think the new smartthings app has apple watch support)

Is there a simple help guide for either of these?

Those can all be done, although some of it’s a bit complex, with the classic app.

To the best of my knowledge at the present time the new app does not allow you to automate the unlocking of locks.

Hi there, I am new to the smart things community, so I apologize in advance if this is a silly question. I purchased a couple of Yale Nextouch locks with Z wave for our church and we would like to set them to unlock in the morning and lock in the evening. I have been attempting to create a custom animation based on time, however the only action that it seems to let me take is to lock the door. Have been unable to find an option to unlock it at any specific time. Could someone please advise me where i am going wrong? Thanks.

Echo and Google home only recognize some device classes, specifically lights, switches, thermostats , and maybe locks. The official SmartThings/Alexa integration can run routines, but only routines that are limited to the device classes above. IFTTT has the same issue. The SmartThings service/channel can turn a single device on or off, but it doesn’t show routines or modes or smart home monitor status. So how can you use your voice assistant or IFTTT to change your mode, unlock a lock, or change smart home monitor armed status if the voice assistant/IFTTT won’t work with those kinds of devices?
