I have created several virtual thermostats which attributes such as temp/RH I populate from external sources. Anyway, each of these virtual devices I have included within the ST Amazon Echo and the ST Google Home apps. I can now ask either Alexa or Home what the temperature is for any these devices. For example:
Hey Google, what is the office temperature?
or
Alexa, what is the office temperature?
Both respond with the current temperature. However…
Hey Google, what is the office humidity? responds with the current RH
but
Alexa, what is the office humidity? responds with "Office does not support that
Anyone have any idea why this would work for Home but not Echo??
BTW: Tried this with a real thermostat (ct100) and got the same results as above. Alexa does not like Humidity, RH. Relative Humidity but is ok with temperature.
