Hey guys. Im finally getting into setting some security enabled items up in the house and would like to use Google Homes speaker as an alarm. Is this possible? When setting up the alarm notifications in ST its not listing GH even though its a supported device.
I believe it is possible with autocast,tasker and sharptools. (paid apps)
You can look it up on google, but you might need a dedicated android device in case you are not at home
Bummer. Any idea if this will be easier to do once Google enables Bluetooth on the devices in the coming weeks?
I think that with the coming for bluetooth for google home, this might makes things a little easier, but i still believe at least 1 app will be required.
In a perfect world i would like to see CORE being able to output TTS/audio file to google home
