Suggest a Device

It is, but you’re getting into specific questions about existing devices, in particular local operation of particulae zwave switches. That’s a whole different kind of discussion. :sunglasses:

So I just think you’ll get better answers if you set up your own thread where we can really discuss why the answers are what they are for different brands.

I have 2 of these, and would love to be able to fully utilize them with my ST V2.

Samsung Smart AC Heater

I mean… A SmartThing should be compatible with Samsungs other Smart line…

Lutron Caseta - It would be great to have it work with Smartthings becuase for those who don’t have Neutral wires in their switch boxes can use this instead and not go and try some untrusted Z-Wave switch that doesn’t require a neutral wire. This can be added using a Hub-to-Hub Connection. Lutron Caseta has its own hub so Smartthings can tell it what to do and the Lutron hub can control the lights until Smartthings creates a hub that has Lutron RF built in that controls the switches directly.

Hi. Please add compatibility for Monoprice 11990 Dual Relay Module. It’s by far the least expensive way to add smart switches ($15 each switch at full price vs $30-$80 for other switches).

I’m using a community solution that is working but official support would be nice. Thanks.

I would like to suggest Venstar thermostasts as a compatible Smart Things device.

if possible i would like you to consider the ID-LOCK.
www.idlock.no

its very nice lock who just released their z-wave module.
my guess its gonna be a big compettion to Yale locks here in scandinavia.

im sorry, but the webiste is only in norwegian.

I just bought the Zigbee Version, via the only method Baldwin said I could, which was a Control4 distributor. It seems to be similar in design to the Kwikset SmartCode 914. I bought it thinking ALL Zigbee advertised devices would work with the ST Hub, Well I eventually got it to work, after a combination of adding a device from my phone and selecting the proper device from “Zigbee Lock” from the Web Panel Interface. All was good, even showed the family. Went to use it an hour later and no dice…

I’ve tried adding the different Kwikset Models (Zigbee Radios) the best I have gotten is this…

Now I will guess no one will claim the integration, so yeah me. I’ll be calling Baldwin/Kwikset/Black & Decker tomorrow to see what they say. There seems to be two versions of the 914, a straight-up Zigbee with all the right specs, Zigbee, Home Connect and most importantly HA 1.2 compliance (HA 1.0 in their website) I am hoping it’s the same radio in the 8285.###.AC2. It looks too similar to not be.

Here are links to the technical documents for adding to what the refer to as a “HAN”.

As I am writing this, it is working intermittently now, so I’ll try to see in a log file gives a clue. Here’s what I found, it trying to send to it, but it does not react. I also found out I am impatient, as one can see from the senseless button pushing.

Is Smartthings planning on integrating the D-Link DCS-960L HD 180 degree wi-fi? I recently purchased this camera and will likely take it back if it won’t eventually integrate with my Smartthings.

Check out the D-Link Camera Manager SmartApp, it has support for the DCS-960L (though it’s not native SmartThings integration)

Hello,
Please add more Fibaro products.

Most important are the following:

  1. Roller Shutter 2 FGR-222
  2. Fibaro Wall Plug FGWPE-102 ZW5
  3. Universal Dimmer 250W FGD-212 ZW5
  4. Relay Switch 2x1,5kW FGS-222

It will be nice to have a time table when this devices can be added ( especially first 2 ) since
a basic automation can’t be fulfilled without this type of products.

Thank you.

Please consider the following thermostat also.

Danfoss Living Connect Z

Thank you.

Hi Kenivbjo
Do you have the IDlock with zwave module?
I’m in DK, considering either the IDlock or Yale Keyfree Connected. They look somewhat similar. Trying to work pros and cons of the two.

Foscam IP cameras?

Hey,

Yes i have the z-Wave module but it doesnt work automatically with ST.
I have not yet figured out how to make it work with ST but I understand it’s some programming that can be done. I justdon’t know how to do it yet.

There are some other people here that know how this can work together.

The lock it self is a very nice lock. Easy to install and works great. I could recommend it.

I think you need to lock in a custom Device Handler and SmartApp created by RBoy

Sounds good you can recommend. I just now trying to figure out if I can get it shipped from Norway to Denmark some how
Do you use “autolock” feature in it?
I see from the user manual it can autolock after 3 seconds. I would to use autolock even though I would have liked to be able to select how many seconds before it should autolock.
