That TS0601 model (tzee204_qasjif9e) is one of those tricky Tuya devices — the problem is that the TS0601 family actually covers dozens of different sensor types, but they all share the same basic fingerprint. Because of that, SmartThings sometimes loads the wrong cluster mapping and the device ends up showing as “always active.” The first thing I’d recommend is switching it over to the stock Zigbee Thing driver so you can see the raw cluster reports. That will confirm exactly what the device is sending. From there, you can try a Tuya-specific driver — Mariano Colmenarejo’s Tuya Edge drivers are often the best bet since they account for many of these quirky models.
Ultimately, if neither of these suggestions work, you may need to reach out to one of the developers and provide the device’s manufacturer name, model number and fingerprints and request that the device be added to an existing driver. Please read the following thread for posting requests for the development of a Zigbee driver: Post Requests for Zigbee Edge Drivers Here (community-created)
If you’re looking for something more reliable, another good option is the Aqara FP1E mmWave Presence Sensor (Amazon affiliate link), which has full direct Zigbee hub support through a custom Edge driver. Here’s the community post with details and the channel invite link so you can install it: Driver for Aqara FP1E Presence Sensor (direct hub connection via Zigbee).
