Recently (2 months) my vibration sensor aqara “DJT11LM” are always offline.
It was not like that, it was very good working with my AEOTEC Hub since September last year, with " ygerlovin" driver.
I already replaced battery and deleted and add again, but after 1 day he goes offline and never como back again. The sensor should be ok, because test it in to a friend HA and was working there. Some one with similar issue? Some idea how to correct?
Can anyone confirm if Aquara MCCGQ11LM door sensors should appear natively in Smartthings App Home Monitor using @ygerlovin drivers or do you still have to fudge it with virtual switches/contacts?
Mine are working fine with the Zigbee Sensors Edge Driver [YG] 1.8.16 from @Yakov’s channel. I am using the Aqara Door and Window sensor E1 (MCCGQ11LM)
Many thanks @Bud_M Do they show as sensors in Home Monitor? Mine work fine as sensors but do not appear in Home Monitor so I can’t set up a night time routine using them. I can’t work out what’s different to yourself and others who are using these drivers.
Yes, they show up at in the home monitor, but I’m not using them in that capacity. You can see in the attached. This is a sensor that I have mattered on one of my bathroom doors. It does display in the SmartThings security section of the home monitor.
You likely need to request the development of a driver as it does not look as the device you have is a supported device in the Zigbee Sensors Edge Driver [YG]. You should also include the Manufacturer name and the device model number when requesting a driver. I use the THIRDREALITY Zigbee Vibration Sensor which works within the ST app with use of the Third Reality “Zigbee Contact” driver. (Note: Third Reality sensor link is a Amazon Affiliate product link.).
Most drivers can be source here within the community. However, should you need additional help sourcing the right driver, I provide Edge Driver Channel Links and Edge Driver installation steps for more than thirty compatible ST devices on my website as part of my “SmartThings Edge Driver Package”. I charge a nominal one-time fee of $10 for six months access to all Edge Driver instructional articles. My premium articles cover a wide range of popular SmartThings devices, to include ThirdReality, Aqara, Xiaomi, Tuya, Ring, Zooz, Philips Hue, SmartWings, Zemismart, Dome, Aeotec, Inovelli, Shelly as well as instructional links to the SmartThings Edge Beta channel and TAustin’s Virtual Edge Driver channel.
The lumi.vibration.aq1 controller for the DJT11LM lacks the ability to change the sensitivity. The sensor is sluggish enough at the factory to eliminate it from many applications (mounting on household appliances or workbenches)
A similar device _TZ3000_bguser20 is already supported by @Mariano_Colmenarejo zigbee-temp-humidity Driver. I think Mariano change this driver to generic, so any new sensor will be supported as well… Give it try.
If no, @Mariano_Colmenarejo can you make this generic ?
I tried adding this: ts0601 tzee204_qasjif9e. The problem is that it is always active, showing presence. I already changed several drivers but without success. Any suggestions?
That TS0601 model (tzee204_qasjif9e) is one of those tricky Tuya devices — the problem is that the TS0601 family actually covers dozens of different sensor types, but they all share the same basic fingerprint. Because of that, SmartThings sometimes loads the wrong cluster mapping and the device ends up showing as “always active.” The first thing I’d recommend is switching it over to the stock Zigbee Thing driver so you can see the raw cluster reports. That will confirm exactly what the device is sending. From there, you can try a Tuya-specific driver — Mariano Colmenarejo’s Tuya Edge drivers are often the best bet since they account for many of these quirky models.
Ultimately, if neither of these suggestions work, you may need to reach out to one of the developers and provide the device’s manufacturer name, model number and fingerprints and request that the device be added to an existing driver.
