Ok so I have searched high and low on this and can’t find anything. I’m also fairly noob so I don’t know how to do a lot of things yet.
Here’s my setup I am using for my connected smoke and co detectors. I have Kidde detectors that are interconnected. I have wired in an sm120x and co120x relays with a vision in wall dual relay (Vision In Wall Z-Wave Micro Switch, 2 relay https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R883YKU?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf). As of now I have everything working, the switches turn on with the notifications.
My question is how do I change the device type so that it can mimic a smoke detector device. I tried changing the device type to various other smoke detectors on the smart thing ide but it breaks the functionality. I’m not experienced enough to write my own. Anyone able to help me on this?
