I have a V2 Hub that I did the Factory Reset to. The reset went as expected, and I have reset it again twice to see that it is reset OK. The issue is now that it is reset it boots to a blue flashing and then stays solid Blue. Which states its not connecting back through the intranet. I can see its IP on my network and have another working V2 hub on the same network. The SN is 3000373020 if that helps.
I was trying to add it to a second location and that is not working.
one possibility is it could have an expired security certificate.
things to try:
block port 123 udp on your Router
reset the hub and onboard the hub to the app
unblock port 123 udp
if you don’t have the ability to block port 123 udp than block the domain ntp.org and follow the same steps above. Many hubs have a perental control option that allows you to block domains.
if your hub does not allow you to block ports or domains, you should find a friend or family member who has a network that allows it.
That was exactly what I needed to do. Now that you explained it, I can understand why the temporary block allows the V2 updates to get installed. Once installed it when green and allowed me to add it to my app.
