Note: the temp sensor monitor will also alert if you have a complete loss of power to the fridge but don’t notice it (gfci breaker trips or your breaker trips).

I was hoping to create a virtual contact sensor to make announcements when the fridge doors are not closed for a certain time period. Since there is no trigger to catch open/close, I can’t do it. Does anyone know a workaround? Thanks

Use something like IFTTT to capture the push notification from the ST app and use that as the trigger.
