SmartTag2 setup on 3 different (modern) devices - Not Working

Hey, if you have the budget for a larger dev/testing team, let me know.
Android: SmartThings wouldnt log me in until I installed Edge mobile. Now it doesnt like (Android 16) “must be > 9”
iOS: There’s no SmartTag option on the iOS version of the app?
Win11: 2 apps that launch at start up and run in the background that I can’t add a device from, really? No thanks.

So, this will only work on older versions of Android? Who is building and testing this hardware you’re selling, and why arent they testing it on non-Samsung devices? I would be extremely upset if I didn’t have other phones laying around at home.

I’ll have to find an older spare android phone after work.

I’m using SmartTag2 with Galaxy S24 Ultra Android 16 with no problem

SmartTag2 is only supported on Samsung devices. Just like Airtags only work with Apple devices.

Doubt that your Windows11 device supports UWB.

As stated multiple times on the website:

Requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets running Android 11.0 or later

There’s also a list of compatible devices:

My mistake, not a Galaxy device.

Seems like kind of an arbitrary requirement.
