Smart Tags and Home Map View

Hello, I’m fairly new to the smart tag world and I’m finding it rather confusing. But, all that aside, I’m wondering if i’m missing something or its just not there to be found.

I have smart tag 2’s on my 3 cats. Ive see them on the smart things find city map. Now, i see there is another map function in the smart things app, a map of my home, which i took the time to draw out the floorplan of (which was rather fun).

But, how do i get my smart tags to show on the map of my home? I have no other smart devices (yet) which i gather would show on this map? But i have these 3 smart tags. How do i get them on this home map? (Very cute virtual cat on there!..not sure of its purpose) Can i locate my cats when theyre hidng somewhere in my home? I know there is a ringer function, but even when set to high volume i cant hear it unless i put my ear right up to it (no, its not my ears).

SmartTags don’t show up in the ST Home Map View. Only devices that appear in the Devices tab of the ST app can be displayed in the Map View.

Thanks for the reply. The smart tags do show on the devices tab.

Yes, apparently they do. However, the Map View is a static representation of your home with no relationship to actual locality. So, wherever you assign the SmartTag is where it will stay.
