I would like to request an enhancement to the Smart Lighting SmartApp to include a ceiling value for the “equal or higher” option triggered by Illuminance. Currently, my “Outdoor Lighting Off” automation is sending unnecessary off commands through the z-wave network as real-time updates are received from my Aeon Labs MultiSensor 6. For my implementation, I really don’t need it to run once the lux level is past 50 lux. I understand I could set thresholds on the MultiSensor, but I’d prefer to see real-time lux readings in SmartThings.
Another approach would be to have an “in range of” option in addition to “equal or higher” and “equal or lower”. Seems like a very easy function to add.
