Sinope Model TH1123ZB zigbee thermostats show up in smartthings as a thermostat but when I try to use it with a smart app it doesnt show up as an option. I have used the DH that smartthings installed and the DH off Sinopes site neither one works. Any ideas appreciated.
I just installed a TH1123ZB and a TH1124ZB devices linked to a Samsung V3 hub. It’s all new to me but, I was able to add the devices to the hub automatically by selecting sinope thermostat devices. I’m using the SmartThings Android App, not the Classic one. Is the current temperature supposed to be working? Should I use the custom Device Handler Sinope put on its website?
I’m thinking about buying some TH1123ZB zigbee thermostats but I would like to see how looks the thermostat option page in the ‘‘new’’ smartthings app after you simply add the thermostats directly in the app? Could someone show some print screens please? I want to see if you see the kW consumption for example. Thanks!
There is no kW consumption in new or old app.
I just switched from v1.0.5 to the native integration and in the new app I can not configure anything. In the old app the setup options are still there. With the native integration all the apps do not list these devices as thermostats so I would assume, similar to the DTH linked in this thread, they are missing the thermostat capability in the native code.
